BNC Lawyers is taking applications for PLT Students looking to get radically involved in a fast paced legal environment! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play a significant role in legal enforcement action and to experience the full process of litigation.

You will be working with clients to resolve their disputes through litigation. Your work will assist clients from resolving liability disputes pertaining to their accident and deal with disputes pertaining to quantum and establishing negligence.

Key responsibilities will include

• Assisting the Principle Solicitor with case management/file management.
• Drafting of legal documents (Statement of Claims, defences, cross-claims, affidavits, consent orders, default judgements, statements and etc)
• Liaising with relevant parties.
• Attending court.
• Seeking court orders at (Pre-trial reviews, defence call overs and etc)

We are currently looking for Students interested in completing their Practical Legal Training that are looking to develop their skills and work with a synergetic team.

The ideal candidates will have:

• Completed or are enrolled in a Bachelor of Law and are currently undertaking their PLT.
• Experience at a previous solicitor company (preferred but not vital)
• Highly developed verbal and written communication and time management skills
• An analytical and forensic mind
• Ability to manage files in a professional manner
