About the role

We are seeking a law clerk to join our General Insurance Team.

This position would suit a university student who is available to work 4-5 days per week.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Assisting lawyers in the day to day management of a wide range of insurance litigation matters
  • Preparation of correspondence and court documents
  • Liaising with clients and third parties;
  • Brief preparation
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls
  • General administration duties.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in defendant insurance litigation, preferably with some experience in property damage claims or motor vehicle claims
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Friendly and helpful disposition and a positive attitude with a focus on outstanding customer service;
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team;
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
