Location - Auckland CBD, New Zealand

Purpose of the role

The Education Support team’s key focus is the administration, coordination and delivery of College of Law New Zealand programmes resulting in a quality experience for clients and stakeholders.

Based at reception, this role is tasked with providing administrative support to the team including office and programme admin. This role supports the Education Support Manager in marketing.

A self-driven individual with strong people skills and a focus on completing processes will excel in this role.

Key Accountabilities

The key accountabilities include:

Office Administration

Front of house responsibilities including greeting students and visitors, and answering and appropriately directing reception phone calls and voice messages

  • Ensure COLNZ premises are kept in a clean, tidy and professional manner including emptying the dishwasher, cleaning and restocking coffee machine and watering plants
  • Maintenance and ordering of groceries, stationery and coffee machines supplies as needed
  • Coordinate the use and setup of onsite workshop and meeting rooms and external venues as needed (including IT and equipment)

 Programme Administration

  • Assist with processing student enrolments within 2 business days of receipt using the Student Management System (Salesforce)
  • Prepare and distribute onsite course materials, attendance sheets and equipment for COLNZ courses as needed 

Marketing Support

  • Supporting Education Support Manager in the promotion of COLNZ and associated programmes
  • Managing COLNZ social media content (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and enquiries

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in an office based customer service and/or administrator role preferred
  • Competent using Office 365
  • Experience using databases and account management systems preferred
  • Organisation and time management skills including ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
  • Strong customer service focus and ethic
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including accurate and efficient data entry
  • Ability to work as part of a small multi-functional team
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a busy, ever-changing work environment
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn and develop
  • Professional presentation
