Job Description

Consumer Credit Legal Service - 2022 Practical Legal Training (PLT) Program 

The Consumer Credit Legal Service Practical Legal Training (PLT) Work Experience Program will run throughout 2022 and is available to College of Law PLT students. 

Participants in the program will work under the supervision of an appointed Consumer Credit Legal Service (WA) Inc (CCLS) lawyer to complete tasks in the workplace. 

This voluntary work experience placement is 3 days per week (2 days per week will also be considered). Applicants are expected to commit to the placement for a total period of 75 days.  

To be eligible for the program, applicants must be law graduates and seeking to complete work experience hours as part of their PLT requirements. Preference may be given to those applicants in the early stages of their PLT coursework. 

Applicants who have already been admitted to legal practice will not be eligible.

  • Placement Application Form (Attachment B of the Booklet); 

  • 1 page cover letter outlining your interest in a placement at CCLS; 

  • Resume (Max. five pages); and  

  • Copy of your Academic Record.
