Job Description:

An opportunity exists for a diligent and ambitious lawyer/solicitor to join our Sydney office. The successful applicant will need to be able to work autonomously without supervision.

You will be primarily practicing in the following areas:

• Commercial
• Property law
• Family Law
• Immigration

Your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Independently take carriage of client matters from beginning to end
• Bringing in new clients and work
• Provide legal advice in property, family and migration law matters
• Draft legal documents such as contracts for sale, letters of demand, shareholder agreements, share sale agreements etc
• Perform high volume conveyancing which involves preparing settlement figures and attending to settlement on PEXA

Requirements:

• Proficient in both Mandarin Chinese and English
• Minimum of 4 years legal experiences & minimum of 1 PQE in conveyancing and property law
• Additional experience in family and migration law
• Able to think commercially, suggest practical solutions to manage and mitigate risk
• Successful applicants must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to build long-term relationships with clients and external stakeholders
• Have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage files in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Fluent in using LEAP and PEXA
• Have impressive telephone manner, be well-spoken and well-groomed
