PLT

Hunter Shafiz Lawyers is offering a position for PLT student(s) requiring placement. You will be trained, tested and required to be very involved with all aspects of a matter. 

Duties will include but not limited to the following:

- Drafting of legal documents and correspondence
- Filing documents into court
- Liaison with clients, courts, government departments and experts
- General administrative work

Part-time opportunity is available (Thursday & Friday) with a minimum 30 day commitment required. You will be required to work from the City office. 

PLTs ONLY. Law students will not be considered. 

About you

The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:

• be eligible to work in Australia
• have demonstrated interest in Criminal Law
• excellent attention to detail
• good computer skills and strong organisation skills
• well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word and Outlook
• ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• excellent spoken and written English skills
• immediate start
• a second language is desirable but not mandatory
• familiarity with LEAP software is desirable but not mandatory.
