The People's Solicitors is a growing law firm based in Penrith NSW, previously of Darlinghurst.
The firm covers areas of criminal law, commercial, family law, wills, personal injury and human rights.
We handle our own litigation work as well as brief counsel. All CBD courts as well as local.
In this PLT position you will be exposed to a wide range of matters where you will be involved in the legal process from start to finish. Whilst under the guidance of a qualified solicitor, practical legal training will include client interviews, taking instructions, drafting documents, legal research and court exposure.
Our clients include individual battlers, employed professionals, small business owners and corporations.
The premises are a friendly and informal work environment.
The other lawyers are widely experienced and operate partly at the office and are spread out beyond the Western Sydney area under our well-established and generous income sharing arrangement and VPN.
Own transport is required. Our location will suit Western Sydney based applicants. The Practice is set up in a large private home
This is an unpaid PLT position. Travel Costs paid. Contract employment opportunities may arise.
