Headstart legal is a modern law firm, passionate and dedicated to helping aspiring individuals, SMEs, and Not for Profit’s to achieve their desired outcomes. We focus on all aspects of Business, Charities and Not-for-Profit Law as well as complimentary services in Immigration, Employment and Succession Law,

This volunteer (unpaid) opportunity will suite a new graduate Lawyer looking to complete their PLT Placement.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn directly from the principal and gain hands on experience in all areas of our practice. 

Your training will include:

• Introduction and training on all aspects of the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission (ACNC)
• All Aspects of Clients intake and management utilising the LEAP and By Lawyers Systems. 
• Conducting Legal research with access to LexisNexis Advance and Practical Guidance. 
• Preparing legal documents (including briefs, advice, applications, and correspondence) 

This opportunity would ideally suit someone who has a positive attitude, quick learner, innovative and adapt to innovative technologies and systems. Keen interest in the Australian Charities and Not-for Profits Sector is highly desirable.
