We are a fast-growing law firm seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Practical Legal Training Volunteer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a law student/graduate who is passionate about commercial law, family law, conveyancing and civil litigation and looking to gain practical experience and exposure in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will be provided with invaluable practical experience and the opportunity to work directly on files, attend court hearings and be given the full employee experience. You’ll be included in all social events, networking opportunities and internal meetings. We will provide extensive training to foster your development during the initial four-week placement. We may offer remuneration for the outstanding candidates.
Who should apply?
Those people who have:
currently completing or completed Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor - final year preferred;
ideally have completed or be in the process of completing their Practical Legal Training (PLT);
a strong academic record;
excellent attention to detail;
be a fast and keen learner;
excellent verbal and written communication skills;
a willingness to help and assist the team with any tasks as required;
passionate about their future career; and
an interest in commercial litigation.
