PLT placement - Hybrid

Goodwill Lawyers is inviting applications from law students (any level) seeking to undertake PLT training.

We are looking for a PLT student 2 days a week to assist with general practice matters across the following  areas of the law:

• Immigration law
• Property Law
• Commercial law
• Leasing

The ideal candidate will have: 

• The ability to learn quickly.
• The ability to start immediately.
• Excellent presentation in person and on the phone.
• Very confident and willing to talk to people.
• Outstanding time management and organization skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• PEXA Experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Smokeball experience is preferred but not  mandatory.

The Role will require you to: 

•  Work in a team under the direct guidance and supervision of the Principal Solicitor.
• Assist in drafting documents and correspondence.
• Assist to complete immigration applications and forms.
• Assist in property settlement preparation and procedures.
• Engage with clients to obtain relevant documents
• Talk to prospective clients and obtaining information over the phone
•  All other ad hoc and admin tasks assigned by the solicitors.
