The successful candidate will be working on a range of interesting and sometimes complex Family Law cases. Your responsibilities will include providing a high level of legal advice, as a Lawyer alongside a Senior Lawyer within our Family Law team. You will need to possess strong technical skills with the ability to manage a significant and complex file load with autonomy. You will need to be passionate and committed to achieving successful outcomes for our clients.

  • Have eagerness & ability to handle challenging/complex matters with strong drafting skills & a keen eye for detail;
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and trust;
  • Be confident in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and organisation skills;
  • Be solutions focused and proactive about delivering quality outcomes.
  • Appear as an advocate, engage in caseload management and provide legal advice/information to a range of clients;
  • Have a high level of resilience and emotional intelligence;
  • Understand the Family Law Act and family law practice and procedure generally;
  • A knowledge and experience in Child Protection matters is preferred but not essential;

The salary package will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
