The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a practitioner with 4 - 7 years PAE to join our busy team which provides solutions to complex commercial and insolvency related matters. We have opportunities for Graduate to Senior Associate level positions.

Responsibilities will include:

• Management of your own files with support and supervision
• Communicating with clients and relevant stakeholders
• Conducting legal research and analysis on relevant legal issues
• Drafting correspondence, court documents and deeds relating to various commercial matters
• Preparing for and attending court appearances and hearings
• Negotiating settlements

Selection Criteria

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in private practice and be able to demonstrate:

• Proven experience in commercial litigation
• Highly developed legal and problem solving skills
• A proactive, innovative and energetic approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An innate ability to work as part of a team

Candidates with a clear passion in commercial litigation and/or insolvency, and evidence of transferrable skills, will be considered.
