This is a casual on-site role for an Administration Assistant with an interest in IP and Commercial Law in our Brisbane office. The role involves supporting our legal team, handling administrative tasks, billing, research to name a few.

Qualifications

  • Administrative skills
  • Interest in intellectual property and commercial law would be an advantage if you are a student;
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail;
  • Have a good knowledge of various software platforms and word;
  • Proper skills in touch typing above 65 wpm;
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities;
  • Excellent phone manner;
  • End of month billing;
  • Research;
  • Must be able to work in Australia;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information;
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills;
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities;
  • Legal experience working within a law office an advantage;
  • Interesting work;
  • Great precedents;
  • Onboarding provided.

This is a casual Administrative Assistant role 3 days per week that would suit someone studying or not requiring a full time position. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative assistance for lawyers, completing clerical tasks, and managing phone etiquette, billing, research to name a few. The Administrative Assistant will also be responsible for effective communication with clients and team members.
