Sportscover is looking for its newest star recruit to join its Claims Team!

Our rapid growth and expansion has led to a new, exciting opportunity for someone to join our Mulgrave Head Office with a full-time position as a Claims Consultant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Claims Manager, as Claims Consultant you will… 

• Manage a portfolio of mainly liability claims.
• Provide information and responses in a timely manner to all stakeholders across the whole claims life cycle.
• Work closely with underwriters, brokers, claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders involved in the claims process.
• Be empowered to manage your portfolio of claims autonomously by crafting responsive, decisive and strategic correspondence to claimants and/or third-party solicitors in defending public liability clams or otherwise.
• Raise all claim payments in a timely and accurate manner on system.

ABOUT YOU:

Applicants interested in this role should at a minimum have…

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and high attention to detail
• A strong desire to learn and pursue a career
• Legal qualification (highly desired, but not required)
• An interest in sport!

By expertly managing your own portfolio of claims and liaising directly with clients and underwriters amongst other stakeholders – you will have the unique ability to influence legal precedent in the sporting industry.
