PAID Legal Assistant / Law Clerk / PLT

Olivine Lawyers is a new & rapidly growing boutique law firm that specialises in Commercial Law, Construction Law & Complex Litigation. 

You will be PAID for this position & you'll also have the opportunity to be mentored by our principal who is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation.

We are looking for a casual legal assistant to assist on a range of matters 1-2 days per week in our office in Cremorne.

We are open to 2nd year law students and above.

The successful students may be asked to do the following tasks:

1.       Undertaking legal research

2.       Managing clients’ files including file note-taking

3.       Assisting litigation matters

4.       Reviewing and reading client files and legal materials

5.       Communicating with clients and any parties such as writing letters, emails and attending to phone calls

6.       Draft simple agreements & letters

7.       Taking on other tasks from time to time, including but not limited to administrative tasks etc.

We are looking for students who are responsible, honest, hardworking, with a high attention to detail.
