We have industry recognized specialties in environmental planning, infrastructure funding, major projects and admin law. Our work covers  litigation, complex advising and transactional agreements.

Your place in our team

Via a series of 8 month rotations, you will work directly with the firm’s partners – Dr Lindsay TaylorMegan HawleyStuart Simington, Katie Mortimer &  Liam Mulligan – along with the firm’s senior and mid-level lawyers. You will be supported by a fully resourced team of business support staff.

You will be able to work across a range of diverse matters, including:

  • development appeals and judicial review in the Land & Environment Court
  • environmental prosecutions
  • planning & development law and projects
  • developer contributions and planning agreements
  • biodiversity & threatened species
  • pollution and contamination
  • public sector governance and administration

Your background

You are a talented and hard-working young lawyer, who:

  • is recently admitted (in the last 3 years) or soon will be
  • has been exposed to planning & environment law, property or government law, at university or in practice, and are excited by the intellectual challenges posed by these areas of law
  • has an impressive academic record with demonstrated excellent statutory interpretation and legal research skills
  • has the ability and desire to work collaboratively in a dynamic, co-operative and harmonious team
  • has the drive to be the best lawyer you can
