We're seeking a motivated and experienced individual to deliver and assess the Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution course to our students. If you are passionate about education, hold an accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, and possess the skills to guide and inspire students, we want to hear from you!
Qualifications and Experience
You will need to have the Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution and a Certificate IV (or higher) of Training and Assessment (TAE40122). Persons who do not hold this qualification but are prepared to obtain in prior to their commencement, will be considered.
Some experience would be desirable in providing training and assessment in the Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution or other related legal program at Diploma or higher level.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration and Compliance:
- Mark student assessments within a strict time frame.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Monitor student progression within the course.
- Maintain student completion and assessment records in accordance with standards and company policy and procedures.
- Comply with the Revised Training Standards of ASQA and other regulatory requirements as they apply to your role
Student Services:
- Impart the knowledge, skills, and attitude required for students to gain competency.
Duties:
- To remain familiar with all organisational requirements including the RTO’s policies, manuals, regulations, standards and legislative documents.
- Deliver student administration paperwork to Administration for timely filing.
- Prepare and update as required, lesson plans, subject outlines, and handouts for each subject taught.
- Attend each scheduled training/assessment session fully prepared and punctually, as directed.
- Record attendance in class daily and provide attendance sheets to the Client Services Officer at the end of each day.
- Ensure that all students are provided with the subject outlines and handouts for every subject.
- Inform all students of the assessment dates.
- Train and assess in compliance with the standards for RTOs.
- Adhere to the assessment guidelines of the relevant national training package.
- Assist in developing curriculum, training methods, and resources.
- Advise, assist, and help students develop their educational programs and inform them of the available facilities.
- Participate in organisational continuous improvement.
- Deliver, assess, and administer the subjects you have been employed for, ensuring learning and assessment strategies comply with the course structure.
- Distribute and complete Trainer/Assessor feedback forms at the conclusion of each subject and course.
- Participate in the student complaints and appeals process as required.
- Enter results per competency unit on assessment summary sheets and submit them to the Client Services Officer at the completion of each subject.
- Assess all modules per the course requirements and company requirements.
- Note any inappropriate behaviour by a student and notify the Director.
- Participate in annual assessment validation meetings.
- Initiate self-professional development.
- Maintain your own knowledge and skills at a level consistent with modern developments in education and within your areas of technical expertise.
- Insist that students observe recognised safety practices at all times.
- Ensure that students are aware of their responsibilities under the Work Health and Safety Act in the workplace.
- Maintain the highest educational and training standards in compliance with our Training & Assessment Services.
