Job description:
You role will include:
- Running your own files from onboarding to conclusion (with mentoring)
- Dealing with legal issues like paternity, guardianship disputes, children’s care arrangements, Oranga Tamariki proceedings and family harm applications
- Representing our clients in Court
- Participating in mediations/round table meetings/Judicial Settlement Conferences
- Offering legal advice to our clients
- Providing an excellent level of customer service

Requirements:
As a family lawyer you will need:
- To have already been admitted, or you are about to be admitted, to the bar
- Completed a Family Law paper during your LLB
- An ability to build and maintain colleague/client relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- An eye for detail
- An ability to empathise with others
- A passion to help others
