PLT Students/ Conveyancing Solicitors

The Role:

We are looking for a confident and capable Conveyancing Solicitor who will work closely with our team to assist with the efficient handling of conveyancing matters in our Box Hill office.

The successful candidate will be proficient with Leap, PEXA, and Microsoft Word, have a positive and professional attitude, exhibit attention to detail, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and possess a strong and self-motivated work ethic.

Some key responsibilities of the role include:

• Managing all aspects of a conveyance, from pre-contract review and negotiations to post-settlement, including use of the PEXA platform.

• Drafting terms and preparing sale contracts.

• Reviewing and advising clients on proposed purchase contracts.

• Managing predominantly residential transactions autonomously, including off-the-plan transactions.

• Liaising with clients, banks, real estate agents, solicitors, and other third parties at every stage of the transaction to prepare all required correspondence and legal documents.

• Utilizing strong organizational skills to manage high volumes of work and meet deadlines.

You:

For Conveyancing Solicitors, you must have at least 2 years of post-admission experience in conveyancing (including off-the-plan transactions). You should be able to work independently and manage your own files efficiently. Mandarin language proficiency is required to effectively communicate with our client base.

For PLT Students, we offer a supportive and hands-on learning environment where you will gain practical experience in various areas of law, including:
