About the Role

Are you ready to make a difference? Embark on a rewarding journey with our dedicated victims of crime team in Ringwood. You will play a vital role in helping applicants access essential services and support through the Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS). Together, we ensure that victims receive the assistance they need for recovery, including counselling, medical care, and expenses related to the aftermath of crime. In addition there will be exposure to personal injury and migration law.

  • Client Engagement: Connect with individuals seeking assistance, answering initial inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing a warm welcome to the firm. Your ability to build rapport will set the tone for positive client relationships.
  • File Management: Master the art of organized documentation and information management.
  • Case Management: Learn to effectively communicate with legal professionals, gaining insights into strategic case management.
  • Drafting Correspondence: Hone your written communication skills as you compose impactful legal correspondence.
  • Evidence Preparation: Contribute to building strong cases by assisting in the preparation of crucial evidence.
