Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer – Full-Time


Location: Drummoyne Office

 

We are a long-established law firm seeking a full-time Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join our property team, working from our Drummoyne office. 

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on conveyancing and leasing work, with responsibilities to include: 

  • Reviewing Contracts for Sale and advising clients
  • Preparing matters for property settlement, including all associated pre-settlement work
  • Attending to settlements via PEXA
  • Managing administrative tasks post-settlement
  • Reviewing and assisting with commercial and retail leases, including client correspondence and preparation/execution of lease documents
  • Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout each stage of the transaction

 

Experience and Skills:

 

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Proficient in the use of PEXA
  • Experienced in residential, strata, and off-the-plan conveyancing
  • Comfortable reviewing and preparing leases and related correspondence
  • Skilled in using Leap and/or Smokeball software
  • Able to manage matters independently with attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and client-facing skills
  • Well-organised, proactive, and capable of managing deadlines across multiple matters

 

Qualifications:

  • Admitted solicitor with a current practising certificate, or
  • Licensed conveyancer with relevant accreditation and experience.
