The role:
Our client is expanding and currently recruiting junior lawyers/graduates with experience (ideally min 6 months) and a clear passion for employment law. Your experience may have been gained as a paralegal in a law firm, Fair Work or a Court/Tribunal, or you may be a graduate at a law firm who has completed a rotation through the employment team and know this is the area you wish to specialise in. 

The work is wide ranging (State and Federal) and includes both advisory and litigation work. It’s a specialist employment law practice that represents employees and employers. If you have a particular interest in an area of employment law work, our client will support you with your goals and aspirations.

  • a keen-ness to learn and a willingness to be mentored by experienced leading practitioners. 
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to help others 
  • A team player mentality and a desire to work and communicate within a collegial environment; 
  • A precision mindset;
  • For graduates, ideally you will have gained some experience working as a paralegal in the employment law area, or have completed a rotation in an employment law team at a reputable law firm (ideally min  6 months). You are likely to have completed employment law related subjects during the course of your studies and be able to demonstrate your passion and commitment to this area of legal practice
