We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our Sydney team — a practitioner who combines deep technical expertise with commercial awareness and the ambition to progress toward leadership and partnership within a growing, dynamic firm.

💼 About the Role

You will advise and represent both employers and employees in a diverse range of employment and workplace matters, including:

  • Employment contracts, executive agreements, and workplace policies

  • Unfair dismissal, general protections, and workplace investigations

  • Employment litigation and Fair Work Commission matters

  • Workplace disputes, bullying, discrimination, and misconduct issues

  • Termination, redundancy, and post-employment restraint advice

  • Collaboration with our Business Law and Family Law teams on cross-disciplinary matters involving business restructures, shareholder disputes, and family-owned enterprises

👤 About You

You are a confident, pragmatic lawyer who:

  • Has 5+ years PAE in Employment or Workplace Relations Law

  • Demonstrates strong technical knowledge and advocacy experience

  • Is adept at building long-term relationships with sophisticated clients

  • Has experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers or paralegals

  • Is seeking career progression and a pathway to partnership

  • Enjoys collaboration across practice areas and thrives in a modern, tech-enabled environment

  • Presents professionally and communicates with clarity and empathy
