Join the dynamic team at SCB Legal as a Family Law Solicitor in our Penrith, NSW office. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a wide range of family law matters. What you'll be doing

• Advising clients on matters related to divorce, separation, parenting, child support, property settlement and other family law issues

• Preparing and reviewing legal documents such as divorce applications, parenting and financial agreements, and Court documents

• Representing clients in court proceedings, including mediation, negotiation, and litigation

• Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and case law

• Collaborating with other legal professionals, such as barristers and expert witnesses, to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients

• Providing exceptional client service and maintaining strong client relationships

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Family Law Solicitor, with a strong understanding of family law principles and procedures

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner

• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills, with a proven track record of achieving favourable outcomes for clients

• Proficient in legal research, analysis, and the preparation of legal documents

• A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and exceeding client expectations

• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
