Graduate Lawyer/ PLT 

Graduate Lawyer/ PLT  – Commercial & Litigation 

We are seeking a Graduate Lawyer or PLT student to join our Sydney-based firm. Our practice focuses on commercial and construction-related work, including disputes and litigation, and we act for a range of commercial clients.

This role is suited to someone who wants hands-on experience and exposure to real files, real clients, and real court work — not just observation.

The Role

You will work closely with senior lawyers and assist across a mix of commercial and litigation matters, including:

• Assisting with court and tribunal matters
• Drafting letters, pleadings, affidavits, and basic advice
• Preparing briefs and working with barristers
• Gathering evidence and helping prepare witness material
• Attending court, mediations, and client meetings where appropriate
• General file management and day-to-day support on matters

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has completed, or is close to completing, a law degree
• Is undertaking or about to undertake PLT
• Has a genuine interest in commercial law, construction matters, and litigation
• Writes clearly and communicates well
• Is organised, reliable, and willing to learn
• Can take direction but also use initiative
• Approaches work with professionalism and integrity

Prior legal experience (such as paralegal or clerk work) is helpful but not essential.
