About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in litigation within a supportive and flexible work environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about dispute resolution, possesses strong English language skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior lawyers in all stages of the litigation process, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.

  • Prepare case summaries, briefs, and legal memoranda.

  • Review and organize case files and documentary evidence.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel under supervision.

  • Attend and represent the firm at routine court hearings (e.g., case management conferences, motions hearings) as appropriate and under supervision.

  • Support trial preparation and may have opportunities to attend more complex court proceedings.

  • Perform thorough and accurate legal and factual analysis.

Requirements:

  • 1. Litigation Interest/Experience: A strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution. Prior internship or project experience in a litigation setting is a significant advantage.

  • 2. English Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential for drafting legal documents, conducting research, and clear communication in court settings.

  • 3. Responsibility & Drive: Must be highly responsible, proactive, and demonstrate a strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a legal career.

  • 4. Meticulous Attention to Detail: A diligent and careful approach to work is critical for reviewing documents, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized case files.

  • 5. Flexible Work Arrangements: Ability to work effectively either full-time or part-time. We offer adaptable schedules to suit the right candidate.

  • 6. Remote Work Capability: Successful candidates must be self-disciplined and equipped to Work From Home (WFH) effectively, with reliable internet connectivity and a suitable home office environment. (Note: Court attendance will require in-person presence as needed.)
