Purpose of Position Judge Kendall is the Court’s National Migration Judge.  His Honour sits predominantly in migration proceedings.  His Honour is also the Case Management Judge for all general federal law and migration matters in the Perth Registry of the FCFCOA.   Judge Kendall’s Associate holds a central role in His Honour’s chambers.  They are charged with assisting His Honour with the day-to-day management of His Honour’s chambers and the other duties undertaken by His Honour in his role as National Migration Judge and Case Management Judge.   This position does not involve any exposure to family law matters.  His Honour does not hear family law matters. Brennan & Co is a small firm next to the District Court that practices almost exclusively in criminal law.  This role requires an individual to act as a mix of a paralegal and personal assistance. The key duties the applicant would be responsible for would be, drafting legal correspondence to Opposing Council, the Court and Clients, management of the legal and trust archive, conducting limited legal research, attending Court, and general administrative tasks.  The position is to replace an individual who will be leaving the firm in November.
