We currently have an exciting opportunity, for an ambitious recently admitted lawyer to join our Restructuring and Insolvency team working for two highly successful partners based in our Sydney office. This team is an extremely busy litigation team, working to court deadlines, which are not negotiable. You will be involved in document review, general discovery, preparing briefs to counsel, completing legal research tasks and providing general support to the team as required. We are looking for someone with prior paralegal experience, ideally in private practice. You will have a pro-active approach to your work and the ability to work autonomously. Work experience as a Judge’s Associate or Tipstaff is highly regarded. Strong academics (distinction average) and a strong work ethic are required, with strong communication skills also essential. The successful applicants will have sharp mind and the ability to work in a fast paced environment, in a team who are leaders in their field of complex, class action litigation.
