United Firefighters Union Australia

The United Firefighters Union of Australia - Aviation Branch (UFUAV) was established as the Federal Firefighters Union in 1974. The Union is a not-for-profit employee organisation representing the employee interests of close to 900 professional aviation firefighters within the Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting Service (ARFFS), which forms part Airservices Australia a Federal Government Corporation. We also cover the Aviation Firefighters located on Norfolk island Airport that work for the Norfolk Island Regional Council.

Our members are located at 28 of Australia's busiest airports across the country, ranging from some of the most remote fire stations through to Australia's busiest International hubs. .

The Aviation Branch is a branch of and is supported by the United Firefighters Union of Australia - National Branch, which became officially registered as an employee organisation on August 1, 1990.
