Australian Criminal Law Group is a criminal law firm with a strong emphasis on social justice.  We will prioritise your professional development, and PLT placements will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced criminal lawyers, including in a court environment. You must be someone who wants to practise in criminal law. We are not a general practice, and the skills you will learn will be almost exclusively relevant to the criminal jurisdiction.  The position offers an opportunity to appear in court with leave, assist in preparing matters, build relationships with clients, and draft documents.  Applicants with demonstrated commitment to social justice will be given special consideration. While we maintain an extensive private practice, our client base also includes numerous Legal Aid and pro bono matters, as well as a large clientele of First Nations clients.
