Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) contributes to a fair, safe and just Queensland by managing government and privately operated custodial facilities and supporting the rehabilitation of offenders within and outside our facilities. We assist crime prevention through the humane containment, supervision and rehabilitation of offenders in correctional centres and the community.
Legal Strategy and Services Group (LSSG) advises on all QCS legal matters across litigation, contracts, and provides legal services and interpretation across a broad spectrum of areas including employment, commercial and administrative law, coronial inquests, personal injury, civil litigation, anti-discrimination and human rights. Focusing on ethics and integrity ensures QCS conducts itself with the highest degree of accountability and compatibility with governing operating and legal frameworks expected of a top tier public safety agency.
