The Family Violence Prevention Legal Service provides legal assistance to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander People who have experienced family violence. We assist clients in family law, child protection, criminal injuries compensation and restraining order matters.   Our solicitors work in conjunction with our community support officers and counsellors to provide clients with access to culturally appropriate and trauma informed assistance.  We are seeking a solicitor to provide legal assistance in all areas of law offered by the service as well as provide community legal education and other assistance as required. The role will be based in the Albany office, with travel to remote towns in the Great Southern Region (rarely outside of ordinary hours) The role is full time but part time applications will be considered.
