To expand our practice and better serve our international clients, primarily from French backgrounds, we are looking to collaborate with a commercial lawyer consultant.

Role Description

As a (Consultant) Commercial Lawyer at Hillman & Associates, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and consultation on commercial matters such as contracts, agreements, and transactions like business acquisitions, disposals and shareholder agreements drafting etc. This role is remote and flexible.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice as a lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction with unrestricted practicing certificate.
• 2-3 years of post-admission experience in corporate and commercial law, either in a law firm or in-house.
• Required to have exceptional knowledge in contracts and other commercial agreements, especially in cross jurisdictional context.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain and interpret complicated legal concepts and advise clients appropriately.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Most recently worked as a Commercial Lawyer or Consultant is preferred.
• Proficiency in French is a must.
