MCC Legal is a debt recovery law firm that issues legal proceedings for the recovery of debts on behalf of our clients. The majority of our work is undefended, though with the volume of work we do there are still significant numbers of litigated matters. We also carry out insolvency work, both in issuing insolvency proceedings such as bankruptcy creditors petitions and winding up liquidations. We also do the post insolvency work for liquidators and trustees. A significant part of our work is local government recoveries for councils and water authorities including the sale of properties for non-payment of rates. MCC Legal operates primarily from the Melbourne office however employs experienced staff in each of the regional offices.
