Are you a recent law graduate looking to complete your Practical Legal Training (PLT) and take the next step toward admission as a lawyer? Our PLT placement offers a supportive, real-world environment where you’ll gain critical hands-on experience, build your professional network, and receive mentorship from experienced legal practitioners.  Knoke Legal is based on the Northern Beaches in Sydney and we practice primarily in Estate Planning, Estate litigation and Probate and Estate administration, business succession and conveyancing. 

As part of your PLT placement, you’ll be involved in diverse legal work, including:

  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms

  • Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries

  • Attending client interviews, court hearings, and mediations

  • Assisting with case preparation and litigation support

  • File and matter management using practice management software

  • Participating in internal meetings and team briefings

This is a paid position for a minimum of 3 days per week.

We are currently offering a work experience placement as a component of Practical Legal Training (paid position 3 days per week). The successful applicant will be working in Wills and Estates, and property law areas. Duties may include but not limited to the followings : Drafting of legal documents Drafting correspondences Filing documents into court, Attending mediation, preparing evidence and drafting contracts and Deeds, Liaison with different parties, Meeting with clients,  working in a collegial environment, General administrative works.   To be successful, a candidate must be: Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Good attention to detail and time management skills Be able to work 3 days a week  Only short listed candidates will be notified.
