Borderless Migration

Borderless Migration specialises in migration law and we are offering internship placements to law students.

The candidate will be exposed to hands on practice in this field, supervised and learning from a Registered Migration Agent and is suitable for law students seeking exposure and experience in the immigration field in Australia.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, strong administrative skills and a keen interest in this area of law.

This position is unpaid for the duration of the placement with the prospect of paid employment subject to performance and suitability.

Some duties candidates will perform:

  • Data processing from primary documents
  • Draft submissions to present to the Department of Immigration and Administrative Appeals Tribunal
  • Research case law
  • Liaise with clients and the Department of Immigration
  • Client file management
  • Administrative duties

 

Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
