Sandhu Legal Professionals (SLP) is a small law practice located in South-West Sydney Blacktown.
We are seeking expressions of interest for persons to fill in available PLT Placements, as well as personnel with experience in conveyancing, family, migration or property law.
Applicants sought must have full working rights in Australia and be available for full-time work with flexibility with study schedules.
Duties will include:
*General office management and administrative tasks
*Direct exposure to and assisting the Principal solicitor with various court matters
*Visitation to courts and various other legal bodies
*Observation in client conferences
*Preparation of files and case notes
*Liaising with clients, vendors and various legal bodies
*Conducting legal research
*Updating legal cases and file management using legal databases
The candidate must possess the following:
*Reliability and punctuality and strong organization skills
*A strong work ethic
*Good verbal and written communication skills
*A willingness to learn
*Proficient with use of general computer systems
*Experience working in a law firm is preferred but not essential.
*Ability to speak a second language is also preferred but not essential.
