We are looking for a Paralegal to join our busy, professional team in Melbourne. Our vacancy will suit a recent law graduate.

You will be a high calibre law graduate. You will provide high-level paralegal support to our accredited immigration law specialists, immigration lawyers / registered migration agents, and to our corporate and individual clients. Tasks will include preparing and reviewing visa applications (across all visa categories) to ensure they meet all legal and other requirements, drafting legal submissions, drafting advice to clients, assisting on merits and judicial review matters, performing research tasks, liaising with clients and the Department of Home Affairs and others as directed, assisting in client interviews and undertaking other general administrative tasks such as running work in progress and visa expiry reports
Considering the position includes extensive client contact and autonomy but with supervision you must have strong administration, communication, research and organizational skills to manage high volumes of work in a timely manner with minimal supervision, good systems and technology skills, the highest attention to detail and a flexible, can-do approach to work. The right candidate, a team player, will integrate easily and work cooperatively in a busy environment.
