The Law Society of New South Wales is the representative body for solicitors in New South Wales. It consists of the Community Referral Service which provides two (2) main services through:
The Pro Bono Scheme - which assists applicants who are unable to afford a solicitor and are not eligible for Legal Aid; and
The Solicitor Referral Service - which is responsible for coordinating contact between individuals and solicitors within New South Wales.
