The Refugee Law Project provides legal advice and representation to asylum seekers in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and on appeal to the Federal Court of Australia and High Court of Australia. It is under the Patronage of Sir William Deane, and has a team of over 30 volunteer barristers, both junior and SC. At the moment we are only operating in Sydney, but hope to expand to other cities in the next year or so.
