PLT position -General Practice Law Firm close North Sydney station ( provide full training across all areas)

Ou Yang & Lee Associates Pty Ltd is a fast growing innovative law firm located in Sydney CBD. At Ouyang & Lee Associates, it is all about finding the perfect solutions for our clients in Property Law(conveyancing& lease), Migration Law, Commercial Law,  Employment Law, Family Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, IP and Torts. We also have cases with Tribunals and FCC/FCA which you may be required to assist with.

We are currently offering a work experience placement as a component of Practical Legal Training (unpaid position). The successful applicant will be working in the  above areas.

You will also be involved in the legal practice innovation program and building an online national legal service platform.

Duties may include but not limited to the followings:

• Drafting of legal documents
• Drafting correspondences
• Drafting letter of demands;
• Drafting settlement offers;
• Filing documents into court,
• Compiling evidence
• Liaison with different parties,
• General administrative works.

 To be successful, a candidate must be:

• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Good attention to detail and time management skills
• Be able to work 2-3 days a week (block placements are also available)
