Family Law - Legal Assistant

Job Description

Hogg and Associates Lawyers is a boutique Family Law firm in the Summer Hill Village of Sydney’s Inner West.

We are currently offering a part time position at our firm as a legal assistant. The position is offered is part-time, up to 3 days per week, including Monday and Tuesday. 

Your responsibilities may include:

  • File management and preparation of briefs for hearing,
  • Reviewing documents,
  • Assisting with the preparations of statements of account,
  • Undertaking legal research,
  • Drafting articles,
  • Assisting our solicitors with drafting court documents and correspondence, and
  • General administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will be completing a Bachelor of Laws and have:

  • A keen interest in Family Law,
  • Excellent attention to detail,
  • An ability to follow instructions,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and
  • A willingness to help and assist clients and staff with any tasks as required.
