PLT Placement / Graduate Position Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PLT student to join our team. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience and fulfil the practical component of your legal training in a supportive environment.

Position Title: PLT Intern (Practical Legal Training Placement)

Location: Barangaroo Sydney NSW 2000

Reporting to: Supervising Solicitor

Position Type: Unpaid Placement / Volunteer (as per PLT requirements)

Duration: 75 days full-time or equivalent part-time, as required by PLT provider

Start Date: ASAP

• By the end of your PLT we will expect you to have the following competency:
   
  • Ability to draft professional emails, letters and contracts;
    
    
  • Improved research skills, understanding of legal issues and problem solving ability; 
    
    
  • Ability to undertaking ASIC searches and experience liaising with regulators;
    
    
  • Preliminary understanding of funds and financial services;
    
    
  • Preliminary understanding of corporate structures and issues;
    
    
  • Improved analytical thinking and communication skills.
