Are you interested in starting your legal experience in Family Law?
We are a small boutique firm based in Penrith with a strong focus on Family Law. Our team is currently seeking a volunteer PLT student who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment.
This is a volunteer position, ideal for:
Law students lacking experience in the legal field, or
Candidates who need to complete their Practical Legal Training (PLT) placement.
You would be joining us in the office 3-5 days per week (must be available on Thursdays and Fridays) and will be exposed to a range of tasks across family law matters.
Answering phones and greeting clients
Taking detailed and accurate client notes
Conducting legal research
Assisting with administrative and case preparation tasks
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
A willingness to learn and take initiative
Good legal research skills
Professionalism and empathy when dealing with sensitive family law matters
