About the Role 

We are seeking a confident and personable Legal Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant to join our team as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our front office and offers excellent exposure to the legal industry. 

This position is perfect for someone with experience in a professional services environment, or a law student looking to gain experience and grow within the firm. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Greeting clients and handling all enquiries (phone, email, in-person). 

  • Managing reception, meeting rooms, and appointment scheduling. 

  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and correspondence. 

  • Maintaining office supplies and general administrative support. 

  • Preparing and formatting documents, letters, and court material. 

  • Liaising with clients professionally and confidentially. 

  • Debt recovery where necessary. 

  • Assisting with social media management. 

  • Assisting the legal team with filing, document management, and billing coordination. 

About You 

  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service-oriented role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment. 

  • Previous experience with LEAP software will be highly regarded. 

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and able to manage your time effectively. 

  • Proficient in the use of office equipment and computer software, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel). 

  • A professional, friendly, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. 

  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 

  • Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
