PLT placement & Graduate Position

Amberlake Lawyers is a full-service commercial law firm based in Sydney, offering comprehensive legal support across real estate, corporate and commercial, banking and finance, insolvency and restructuring,  litigation and more. Our team’s diverse expertise and industry experience make us uniquely qualified to assist the client in all facets of its operations.

We are seeking a highly motivated PLT student or recent law graduate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking to complete their Practical Legal Training placement or gain entry-level legal experience in a supportive environment.

You will work closely with our solicitors on real files and matters, gaining exposure to the day-to-day practice of law.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting solicitors with legal research, drafting, and case preparation

• Attending court, mediations, and client meetings under supervision

• Preparing correspondence, court documents, and briefs to counsel

• Managing file administration and document management

• General administrative tasks as required

About You

• Law graduate or current PLT student eligible for placement

• Strong research and legal drafting skills

• Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn

• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
