Rock Legal is a boutique firm based in the Camden region whose practice areas predominantly include property law, wills and estates, criminal defence work, and family law.

Job Role

We are currently seeking a PLT student to assist the Principal Solicitor in the practice and with preparation and attendance at an upcoming lengthy criminal trial.

The position is on a full-time basis however part-time hours may be considered for the correct candidate.

About You

Duties will include:

• Drafting documents and correspondence
• Assisting on property transactions
• Conducting legal research
• Preparing documents for trial
• Support solicitor in case preparation including evidence collection, client communications and coordination with external activities, participate in Court appearances and other legal appointments under supervision
• Provide administrative support to the trial team

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Jurisdoctor (JD) from an accredited institution
• Enrolment in completion of a Practical Legal Training (PLT) program
