PLT Placement – Part-time or Full-time
Appius Lawyers is a small suburban law firm seeking proactive law graduates looking to complete their 75 days of Practical Legal Training (PLT) placement.
We are seeking an applicant who is able to commence immediately.
Our practice areas include family law, wills and estates, criminal law, contractual disputes (including commercial leases), debt recovery, and general litigation.
During the placement, the successful applicant will gain practical exposure to a range of matters and will be expected to:
• review client instructions and factual material;
• assist in maintaining files and progressing matters;
• conduct legal research; and
• contribute to legal strategy and case theory on new and existing matters.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
• strong written and verbal communication skills;
• the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• strong legal research skills and attention to detail; and
• a positive and proactive attitude.
