Family Law / Estates Solicitor (1–3 Years PAE) – Sydney

Our growing Family Law team is seeking a solicitor with 1–3 years’ experience to join our Hornsby office. You will work closely with our Family Law Accredited Specialist on a range of family law matters, while also gaining exposure to estates work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who is passionate about family law and interested in developing broader expertise across related practice areas.

The Role

Working alongside our Family Law Accredited Specialist, you will assist with and manage a range of family law matters, while also supporting estates work within the team.

You will be involved in matters including:

• Property settlements and financial matters
• Parenting disputes
• Divorce applications
• Drafting court documents and correspondence
• Client communication and matter management
• Assisting with estates and succession matters

This role provides excellent exposure, mentoring and the opportunity to develop strong technical skills in a supportive team environment.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• 1–3 years’ post-admission experience in family law
• A genuine interest in family law and a willingness to develop skills in estates matters
• Strong communication and technical drafting skills
• The ability to manage matters efficiently and meet realistic budgets
• A commitment to professional development
• An interest in pursuing specialist accreditation when eligible
