The Position

Alton Legal is seeking a junior immigration lawyer with a minimum of 1 years of migration law experience.

Key Responsibilities – Junior immigration lawyer 

  • Provide immigration advice on a wide range of matters to our clients.
  • Preparing and lodging visa applications on behalf of clients, including Employer Sponsored, Family, Family, Refugees, Ministerial interventions, GSM, Visitor, Student/Graduate.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of immigration laws and regulations
  • Write submissions to the Department of Home Affairs and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal addressing issues such as Health, Character, Family Violence, etc.
  • Providing exceptional client service and managing client relationships

Essential Criteria

  • You must be an admitted Lawyer in the supreme Court of New South Wales Australia
  • Strong legal research, English writing, and document preparation skills.
  • A genuine interest and commitment to working in the Australian immigration industry.
  • Candidates must hold a valid work visa or appropriate Australian work authorisation.
